OMNIFLIGHT HELICOPTERS ACQUIRE ATLANTA BASED RESCUE AIR 1

Omniflight Helicopters, a leader in the air medical industry since 1962 announced today that the company has acquired Atlanta based Rescue Air 1. Rescue Air 1, formerly Baptist LifeFlight, has been the leading provider of air medical services to northern Georgia since 1981. Rescue Air 1 currently operates five medical helicopters.

Rescue Air 1 owners Ralph McDaniel and Bill Pike will be retained by Omniflight, and hold key positions within the company. McDaniel has over 30 years of experience in medical operations (21 of which involve the helicopter industry) and will serve as the Regional Director for Omniflight's Southeast Region. Pike will assume the role as National Director of Sales and Marketing.

Omniflight Helicopters, founded in 1962 and headquartered in Addison, Texas operates a fleet of over 65 single and twin engine airplanes and helicopters. This latest acquisition creates one of the largest full service air medical operations in the Southeast United States.
